Staffing Changes Announcement

Quail is undergoing some exciting transitions on its ministry staff. First, we were blessed to have had Dan Archer serve for several years as a very part time Director of Operations. He completed that responsibility earlier this year, and John Dillon has assumed that role.  John is with us, as Dan was, a few hours a week to cover administrative/operational needs that the ministry staff is not gifted or tasked with doing. 

Second, Pat Morrison, our beloved church secretary for 30+ years, has announced that she will be retiring by the end of this year.  We will honor her appropriately later this year for her many years of service and countless acts of professionalism and love for this church. 

This vacancy, together with previous ones, will create both some financial savings and some real need in our Administrative Support.  So, we have invited Rachel Cunningham to join our staff to serve as Steve’s Administrative Assistant upon Pat’s retirement and as our Director of Communications. Rachel’s presence will bring professional experience in communications. Her leadership in communications, as well as some special projects, will free up Bruce McIntyre to spend more time making our Connection Groups his primary responsibility.

This congregation has a history of using small groups as a catalyst for growth and this is an area your leaders intend to build on so that our small groups can once again be where church happens.  Bruce’s first priority will be our Connections Groups and equipping group leaders, but will also renew his focus on helping new people get connected, spiritual guidance, and adult spiritual formation.
